Welcome to the Velveeta Guestbook v2.0!
I just wanted to drop a note cause you guys are the BEST band in State College...and trust me I go out enough to know. (My weekend starts Wednesday and ends on Tuesday.) You guys should play "Sugar" a little closer to the beginning so that I'm not trashed when it comes on...the hair flip is soooo much better before i am completely toasted...
Luv you guys!
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - June 13, 2002 at 2:28 PM EDT
Thanks for sticking up for those of us who like band members. Just a reminder though this is a place to complement a wonderful band. Just ignore negative people, and worship the cheese.
United States - June 10, 2002 at 10:37 PM EDT
Dangerous? Whatever. Dangerous people are people like you who can't just come to see a band and have a good time. Instead you have to stand there and make judgments about people who want to have a good time and enjoy flirting with a band member.
Who cares who/what Brent wants? People like to have a good time--that's why they go. Just because someone likes a particular member doesn't mean they are crazy.
So far as elbows, why don't you just stand in the back instead of near the stage and maybe you won't get hurt. And if you aren't having a good time, try leaving.
United States - June 10, 2002 at 10:24 PM EDT
Do you mean two guys as in Males?
United States - June 10, 2002 at 10:13 PM EDT
Brent will talk to anything with tits. I wouldn't be flattered if I were you...and you guys were great at Brownies, but Beavis and Butthead need to stop macking on the band and steer clear of any people so they don't know you unconscious with their flying elbows!!! The two guys who ALWAYS come out to see you (here and in State College) are dangerous!!!
Philly, Pennsylvania, United States - June 10, 2002 at 12:46 AM EDT
We just got back from Brownies to see you guys play. It was awesome! Worth every hour we drove. We adore you all (Especially John and Brent) and will miss John with all our hearts. Itís so sweet that you talk to your fans, it means so much to us. Of course it makes me blush since I (Angel) have had a crush on Brent since the first time I saw him four years ago!
Love our Cheese,
Lindsay and Angel

You guys rock and unfortunately (in our drunken state) we thought we did too! (I promise we will stay away from the stage next time.) See ya at 4D's in July!

That must also be why he keeps blowing off his lessons! You know i still have to charge him...
United States - May 30, 2002 at 7:00 PM EDT
We're huge in Ohio I thought everyone knew that......
Actually they had to get Steve Morse to sit in front of this big crystal thing to drain his essence........ It's a long story. His clinic and Deep Purple schedule is messing the whole thing up.
United States - May 30, 2002 at 12:54 PM EDT
Wow, 3 DIFFEREENT people from Ohio, all 2-3 minutes apart.. still better odds than getting a guitar on schedule. Did they have to go out back and slaughter Morse himself?

Phila., Pennsylvania, United States - May 19, 2002 at 9:21 PM EDT
Hey Brent Man, I just wanted to let you know (so there is no confusion later), I am now officially a fan. And Brian, I will always request "Jessie's Girl". Please get over it; thank you. I'm very much looking forward to your Brownie's show. See you then, rock stars!
D'town, Pennsylvania, United States - May 18, 2002 at 2:53 PM EDT
You should also play Every Rose...my friend and I are
big fans of that one, especially when Mike sings it!
See you Friday!
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, United States - May 16, 2002 at 12:24 PM EDT

State College, United States - May 15, 2002 at 10:58 AM EDT
Did you decide on a time to start at Barnaby's or what? Oh and can you play Forever Young...haha. Just kidding. It will be so good to see the cheese again! Whoever is in charge of the set list should make sure Bad Touch and Wild Thing are in there!
Philly, Pennsylvania, United States - May 14, 2002 at 10:16 PM EDT
Yo Brent, how are you hitting them? Let's play golf soon.
United States - May 14, 2002 at 5:56 AM EDT

somewhere, United States - May 12, 2002 at 1:01 PM EDT
Hi, I just wanted to say hi and tell you guys you are the most talented I have ever seen.. Right in the pocket, and you're fun as hell. Oh, and yes, Anon is my real name.
United States - May 12, 2002 at 12:30 PM EDT
I've personally looked at all the fan shots and all I can say is Anonymous (if that is your real name), you're full of crap
United States - May 10, 2002 at 3:40 AM EDT
Though I appreciate all the faith you guys have in us, thinking that we can learn and play a song like this suddenly huge request in a matter of days. But the cheese has been a bit busy this week and couldn't arrange the practice time. So we all apologize that we won't be able to perform Rod Stewart this evening. Please forgive us......
Cheeseland, United States - May 9, 2002 at 1:51 PM EDT
Hello, I have a request for Rob too, who will see you guys probably one of his last times this Thursday at the Cafe. His favorite song by you is Dirtbag, and you guys usually play that so I hope you can make it in your line up this Thursday. Also, he loves Neil Diamond. It would be great if you could play those!!
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - May 9, 2002 at 12:25 PM EDT
Little red head kids in Rod's videos are cool. Dial down the Center G!.. 1 800 c-a-l-l my agent.
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - May 9, 2002 at 2:16 AM EDT
For Pete's sake or whatever this guy's name is--learn freakin' "Forever Young" It's VERY un-Velveeta, but it appears it would make these peoples' lifetime.
United States - May 9, 2002 at 1:04 AM EDT
My friend Rob Milnes is the biggest Cheese fan...Would you please play Forever Young for him this week...Thanks ;-)
University Park, Pennsylvania, United States - May 8, 2002 at 7:36 PM EDT
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I would REALLY love for you to play "Forever Young" on Thursday night for Rob Milnes. He is a faithful fan of yours and will be moving from SC soon... See you Thursday night!
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - May 8, 2002 at 10:06 AM EDT
Hey guys! I'm not sure if you take requests over your guestbook or not, but I was wondering if you have ever played "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart? I would like to ask you if you could play that song this Thursday night at Cafe 210 for a specail Penn Stater who is graduating Friday. His name is Rob Milnes (he's always in the front row!) and he goes to ALL of your shows at Cafe on Thursday nights. He only missed one of your shows this past semester due to a class project. Yea, so if you could play that song for him ....that would be great! (he would just die of excitement, he LOVES you guys and will miss you dearly when he moves to Conn. after graduation) Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to seeing you for one of the last times I'll be in State College! See you Thursday!
PS- anyone from our "group" that sees this posting DO NOT tell Rob! He's away this week- so I'm hoping he won't check the guestbook :o) See you soon!
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - May 6, 2002 at 10:42 PM EDT
How come in the fan shots the girls always weigh less than a hundred pounds? Does Velveeta have something against their female fans that are voluptuous and not as skinny as a rail? I mean c'mon guys, we have the breasts you know....
United States - May 5, 2002 at 5:06 PM EDT
Hi John! I finally got around to checking out your web site. Very impressive! My cousin is a rock star! :)

State College, United States - April 25, 2002 at 10:30 PM EDT
I was seeing this guy for about two months. Every time you came to Altoona, he would ask me to go. We're not seeing each other anymore, but I still look for you all the time. You play the best selection of 80's music I've ever heard and it's so fun to dance to. You guys are great!
Carrolltown, Pennsylvania, United States - April 19, 2002 at 6:34 PM EDT
Hey guys. Love the usual set list. I have a couple suggestions the State College crowd is guaranteed to love:
Lou Gramm - Midnight Blue
Mr. Mister - Kyrie
Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch - Good Vibrations
Roxette - Joyride
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - April 18, 2002 at 2:12 PM EDT
Well, I was checking out the Brewery's website (imagine that) for my annual Blue-White drunken weekend extravaganza and came across 80cheese.com, it has certainly been a long time. Hope you are all doing well and maybe we will stop by Saloon to say HI at some point over the weekend...TAKE CARE!!!!!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - April 18, 2002 at 1:08 PM EDT
Long time ever since I had signed the guestbook. Just saying hello, and that I always enjoy the show whenever you guys come to Pittsburgh! Even though it is crowded, it is a great show, no wonder you guys draw a huge crowd here in the 'burgh!
Well, will see you guys at Nick's!
Can't wait to see the show.
Also, since I have not heard "Jenny/867-5309" in a while, can you guys play that for me? Would love to sing that song with you guys!

It was my first Velveeta experience this Saturday at Nick's and I have to say I was impressed. You reminded me alot of Uncle Sam who plays at my friend's bar in Bridgeville, The Rhythm House Cafe. I would like to see you guys play there. Is that out of your area?
Oh yeah, Mike I liked the Beastie rap...sweet!

Philly, United States - February 25, 2002 at 2:35 PM EST
Hey guys, just thought I would drop a note to say hello. We didn't get to make it to the last show because of a big b-day party planned for a close friend, and I wish we would have been able to make it. But, I downloaded the CD that day, so we had it cranked and instead we brought Velveeta to us! It was awesome. You guys did an awesome job of recording. I hope you get another one out soon, if that is in the big picture. Take care guys.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - February 12, 2002 at 9:54 AM EST
You guys were awesome at the Saloon as usual. I hadn't seen you in a long time, so it was worth the trip. Bones, good luck with the new baby...Oh, and I have one more thing to say-Steve from Bluesuedegroove is such a cutie!
United States - February 11, 2002 at 3:22 PM EST

Pgh, Pennsylvania, United States - February 10, 2002 at 10:33 PM EST
Last night kicked major ASS!!!!
United States - February 9, 2002 at 12:49 PM EST
Well, unfortunately I can't make Saturday to see the greatest 80's gig around.....that sucks. But I will be able to make the rest of the years shows...anyhow, I got a question guys on the CD....are the songs listed in order as they appear on the CD or does it now really matter which order you record them in?
Moon Twp, Pennsylvania, United States - February 6, 2002 at 10:13 AM EST
Hey guys. Thank you so much for letting me play with you guys at Brownie's. I hope you all had as much fun as I did (although the $40 for shipping my drums to Ardmore was, a bit, in my opinion, outlandish). It was exhillerating to get behind the drums again, and to play with the quality of musicianship that you all have made it all the more enjoyable. Bones, it was my pleasure, and I hope you name your child after me, rergardless of sex. Thanks again.
Ardmore, Pennsylvania, United States - February 5, 2002 at 4:34 PM EST
I am coming up to State College for the weekend and of course we are coming to the Saloon to see you guys! Can you please please please play Every Rose for me? I haven't seen you play the whole night in such a long time!(every time you are in Philly I already have something going on)...You guys kick ass! See you Friday!!
Philly, United States - February 4, 2002 at 5:33 PM EST
Thanks, Jessica for bringing the "Centerfold" issue to my attention I believe it has been fixed.
Cheeseland, United States - February 3, 2002 at 2:56 PM EST
Did anyone else have trouble with the "Centerfold"
download? It cuts off halfway through the song....
Philly, Pennsylvania, United States - February 3, 2002 at 10:33 AM EST
I am one of your biggest fans. I am the number one groupie. I see you guys where ever you play. You have to learn some Eddie Money though. Like 'Two tickets to Paradise' or'Take me home tonight'. Eddie Money rocks
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - February 2, 2002 at 9:04 PM EST
Hi guys.. Can't wait to see you all at Nicks on the 9th. The 10th is my 25th birthday..so at midnight you will be helping me celabrate my birth....thanks
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - January 30, 2002 at 11:14 PM EST
So I saw you guys in Sharon last weekend and had some requests but you don't play most of them. I thought of some more...Heat of the Moment (Asia) Tenderness (General Public) Pretty in Pink (Psych. Furs) then there's always Social D. I'll be at Nick's on the 9th or whenever that is...Thanks, Emily

United States - January 30, 2002 at 1:43 AM EST
Exactly what kind of stains are you talking about?
United States - January 29, 2002 at 9:27 PM EST
thanks sarah! I am glad you like it, however I don't think you want velveeta drunk in your living room, those pesky stains the boys leave are hard to get out of the carpet.
United States - January 28, 2002 at 7:36 PM EST
I'm sitting here listening to your CD right now and it's KICKASS!! (I can even hear myself screaming) I suggest everyone download it, pop it in the CD player, crank the volume up, and start drinking heavily...it's like having Velveeta in your living room!
I love you guys and hope to see you at Brownie's this weekend..."Play Bon Jovi!!"
Blackwood, New Jersey, United States - January 28, 2002 at 3:05 PM EST
Great to see you guys back at The Hot Rod. Sounded great as usual. Wish I could have seen that there was a band on stage during the first set. Oh, I get it, it was "Guess The Band Night" The band plays in a shroud of mystery while the drunken crowd tries to guess who they came to see. Brilliant! A great new drinking game!
Thanks for the shot of Jager! Should be at Nick's Fat City!
Akron, Ohio, United States - January 27, 2002 at 9:56 PM EST
You guys were great last night. Even though some people were getting a little out of hand and pushing me into the speakers a whole lot, I still managed to have a great time, as always. Thanks for playing my song (Blackpack).
United States - January 26, 2002 at 12:43 PM EST

Hey, you guys should have all ages shows in Pittsburgh! I go to Penn State Beaver and am only 19. I love 80's music but I have to miss out at Nick's Fat City because I am not 21!
Beaver, Pennsylvania, United States - January 2, 2002 at 5:12 PM EST
First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I just wanted to tell you guys that you were, as always, awesome on Saturday. It was a hell of a show, and we brought about 10 cheese virgins down to check you out. So, their Cheesy Cherries have been popped, and they had an awesome time. As far as that guy who jumped off the stage....well, a little note for cheese fans everywhere...please please please, especially in a place like Nick's, do not jump off the stage. A friend of mine, who is now a Velveeta fan, did get hurt by the guy. She is doing fine though, the doctor told her it was just muscle stain on her neck. She is stiff and sore but fine. And she wishes Velveeta fans everywhere a Happy New Year. Brent, get my email, we want to book you for a private show in June. We'll see you guys next time.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - January 2, 2002 at 8:15 AM EST
You guys rocked at Nick's Fat City Saturday night! Thanks for play the Diamond tunes...they kicked ass!
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - January 1, 2002 at 10:01 PM EST
To the audience at Brownies on 12/28 I do want to extend an apology for the volume. I did get a little carried away mixing the 'cheese', but I thought that I had a good vibe going, and the boys do like to 'Rock like Fuck'. I WAS asked by the management to tone it down a bit. I hope everyone enjoyed the show and I hope that your eardrums didn't bleed too much....
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - January 1, 2002 at 9:55 PM EST
