United States - January 24, 2003 at 1:17 PM EST
I deserve a 10+++ for that tumble. I still have a bruise on my leg the size of a grapefruit. Sorry, I didn't mean to step on any of your girlies' toes. However, I do not have short reddish hair.
United States - January 24, 2003 at 10:18 AM EST

I agree with #679... we are sad here in the 'burgh about the april diss. You guys have been here the nite before Easter the past couple of years. What will my Easter be without a Velveeta hangover? We will miss you...
Pittsburgh, United States - January 24, 2003 at 1:30 AM EST

State College, Pennsylvania, United States - January 23, 2003 at 9:31 PM EST
Well back to the rumor mill we go! You sure left the friend/birthday/goodnight thing out of there for all to ponder... as for the embarrassing part, I rated your bail down the stairs a 9.5, would have been a 10 if you spilled your beer :) geez....
Pennsylvania, United States - January 23, 2003 at 6:25 PM EST
Thank you Steve for the kiss. It will go down without a doubt as being the most memorable/embarrasing kiss in history. Thank god for whiskey.
Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States - January 23, 2003 at 5:32 PM EST
I cannot believe that you are not coming to Pittsburgh the whole month of April! Your fans in Pittsburgh are not very happy about that!!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 23, 2003 at 1:17 PM EST

United States - January 23, 2003 at 9:07 AM EST

Wacky Wall Walker
PGH, United States - January 23, 2003 at 2:01 AM EST
We will not be at Nick's for the benefit, sorry to say! our next show at Nick's is feb. 15th. We were only trying to promote a good cause.
United States - January 22, 2003 at 11:03 PM EST
On Saturday, you guys plugged a benefit show that will be held at Nick's next Wednesday. Is that something you will be appearing at? My drunk friend swears that you announced that you would be there. I heard the Dick Clarks would be there... who is right?
Pittsburgh, United States - January 22, 2003 at 10:27 PM EST
United States - January 22, 2003 at 12:10 PM EST
What makes you so sure that twisted sister is a girl??? : )
United States - January 22, 2003 at 2:13 AM EST
Why are people always trying to start s**t in this guestbook? Let's just enjoy the cheesy tunes! I have been going to see Velveeta for about six years now, and I always have a feeling of camaraderie during the shows. It's all about being cheesy with fellow children of the eighties. Next time you see Velveeta, look around you at that point when you are not quite drunk yet... where else can you belt out poison songs at the top of your lungs along with the entire bar and not feel completely stupid? Enough of these stupid guestbook battles. Let's just have fun! Velveeta, thanks for my best college memories, and my best alumni memories!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 22, 2003 at 2:05 AM EST
I have reddish hair as well. No need to point fingers!
not a groupie... rather, a super-fan
United States - January 21, 2003 at 11:39 PM EST
In reply to 665, I have "reddish" hair... should I be worried? I am also a groupie... should I be worried?
United States - January 21, 2003 at 9:50 PM EST
Well, looks like I had to miss you guys again. I've only been to one show in the last year. I should be ashamed to call myself a cheese head. I need cheesed and feathered. But, I did send out some new recruits and they have been fully converted over to cheese. One of them didn't even like 80's music can you belive that? But, she was not told what you guys played and she had a blast! Glad to see that you guys did a good job again, and unfortunately I'll have to miss the February show too. DAYTONA 500!!!!!!! Can't miss that. Guys, have a good one, and another great show in Pittsburgh next go round, but I'll see you after the Feb show sometime....might have to do a road trip......hmmm.....
PS: Still trying to figure out who that Twisted Sister Girl is.
Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States - January 21, 2003 at 4:18 PM EST
Thank you for one more great night at Nick's Fat City-- I also think you guys play your best shows there! I can't wait to see you again! Thanks for always making those long treks to Pittsburgh-- The PSU alumni appreciate it!

Great show this weekend! When will the pictures be put on the webpage???
Pgh, United States - January 20, 2003 at 12:40 PM EST
The show on Saturday was amazing! It is too bad that you don't play in Pittsburgh more often. Can't wait to spend Valentine's weekend with you!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 20, 2003 at 12:37 PM EST
P.S. The first round of Jager shots at Nick's came from me, a loyal fan from PSU, but I didn't want to fess up in front of the crowd. You guys played a fantastic show...good thing I was there for the sound check to hear Centerfold! Can't wait for Feb 15th!
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - January 19, 2003 at 7:33 PM EST
Thanks so much for "Take On Me" last nite at Nick's! My friends and I loved it! That song is the epitome of cheesy 80s! You guys rock! :)
Pittsburgh, United States - January 19, 2003 at 11:13 AM EST
You guys SO need to do a Pearl Jam song!!!!!! I will expect one next time I come to State College to visit...haha!!! Seriously, think about it. I think I heard Alive once or twoce and almost died!!!
United States - January 19, 2003 at 3:05 AM EST

Steel Horse Rider
Pittsburgh, United States - January 17, 2003 at 11:50 PM EST
I have seen you guys play at a lot of different places, but I have to say the best shows are always done at Nick's. Can't wait for Saturday to see Steve sing Bon Jovi!!

N.C., United States - January 15, 2003 at 11:58 AM EST
I WAS AT THE SHOWS AT SHADS IN DECEMBER AND JANUARY IN NEW CASTLE AND WAS WONDERING EXACTLY WHO THE "I TOUCH MYSELF DANCING GIRL" WAS. SHE SEEMED PRETTY FRIENDLY WITH THE BAND. IS SHE A STATE COLLEGE GIRL OR A LOCAL GIRL?
AN INQUIRING MIND
NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania, United States - January 14, 2003 at 5:10 PM EST
Now,now, there are some very loyal fans of velveeta from Jersey. David is not even his real name most likely, or Jersey his real home.
United States - January 14, 2003 at 4:49 PM EST
New Jersey is not the armpit of America...it's the taint.
United States - January 14, 2003 at 2:35 PM EST
David should just shut his mouth seeing that he is from the armpit of america!
United States - January 14, 2003 at 1:09 PM EST
Only if i can work for you at taco bell david. Maybe someday you'll make manager!
United States - January 14, 2003 at 11:44 AM EST
YOU SUCK SO BAD ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. I SAW YOU GUYS A WHILE AGO AND I THINK YOU ARE ALL THE WORST MUSICIANS I'VE EVER SEEN. DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND GET JOBS AND PUT DOWN THE INSTRUMENTS.
Woodbridge, New Jersey, United States - January 14, 2003 at 11:22 AM EST
That is Twisted Sister from entry 624
Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States - January 13, 2003 at 11:36 PM EST
Hey guys....looks to be a lot of competition in the ranks from the ladies fans. Bones? Where's the love? No one talked about you. I will. You kick ass at drums.
Anyhow, who is twisted sister and can I buy her a drink or dinner? :o) Thanks for the compliment. But right now I'm undergoeing Vince Neil syndrom...gotta get rid of this belly...ok bad jokes...but hey thanks for the compliment. Just remember, Velveeta rocks, I'm just a fan :o)

Phillygirl, how bout you make me a sandwich?
Petrified, Pennsylvania, United States - January 12, 2003 at 5:34 PM EST
Haha! Told you the Steelers sucked...too bad they are gone. I can't tell which one I am more upset about, the Steelers or the Giants being eliminated. OH WAIT I know...NEITHER!!! Oh well, we will see how it turns out. One a tangent, do you guys still play the Middle and Eminem? I hadn't seen you in a long time but I was up for summer graduation and those songs were awesome!
United States - January 12, 2003 at 4:47 PM EST
I just wanted to tell you that my girls and I had a great time on Friday at Shad's. YMCA was hillarious. Steve...thanks for Sweet Child of Mine...it was worth the wait!!! We will see you guys soon.
New Castle, United States - January 12, 2003 at 12:44 PM EST
It is a sad, solemn day in Western PA.
Alas, all good things must come to an end.
United States - January 12, 2003 at 12:43 AM EST
Okay boys, calendar production will begin tomorrow. I just need to know the quantity before I hit Staples for supplies. I've got one order so far. Just wondering if there are any other takers.
Thanks for another great night!!! :)
N.C., Pennsylvania, United States - January 11, 2003 at 1:51 PM EST
Finally, some women are speaking out about Mike. I thought it was just me who melted like cheese for his cheddar.
Keep the eye contact Mike, it is truly your ticket to success with the ladies.
Philadelphia, United States - January 10, 2003 at 7:24 PM EST
Hey guys! Let's hear Rage again on the 18th! Your
last Nick's show rocked...looking forward to the
experience all over again.
Look into playing in Baltimore....It would be fantastic
to see you boys down here, and with all of the
Pittsburghers in the area you would have a full house!
Let's go Steelers! (sorry Brent!)
Baltimore, United States - January 10, 2003 at 9:49 AM EST
We used to play A-HA a long time ago.......perhaps someday again.?
United States - January 9, 2003 at 4:58 PM EST
Do you guys play "Take On Me"??? I thought I saw it on the list of songs you play, but I have never heard it. We would love to hear it at Nick's!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 8, 2003 at 7:26 PM EST
you are lame, you use a pick. oh, Steve I have your video camera
United States - January 8, 2003 at 5:33 PM EST
Who gives a crap if its rumors or truths or what, just keep personal 'thoughts' out of here. This is here for comments about the band or the music, freebird requests, telling bass players their lame cause they use a pick, things like that. Thanks!
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - January 8, 2003 at 4:50 PM EST
Hey Mike, I thought you didn't check this page? :) Don't worry... girls will be girls. We read into every little thing. Just your cute smile and dimples make every girl melt. Anyway, the word on the street is that you have had some little "connections" with fans. But is something a rumor if it is the truth? Sorry if we hurt your feelings!
United States - January 8, 2003 at 1:57 PM EST
First off I would like to say how sad I was to hear that you werent playing at the Edge on Saturday in Scranton. I have only seen you guys perform 1 time and it was the best show I have ever seen.
You all have such great admiration for performing and your love with music. You put on a terrific show. I had the chance to speak with a few members of the band during the show at the saloon, and you all have great personality's. I hope to see you again soon. Keep up the good music. And Brent keep on smiling.. Love ya's
Someone that remeber's <3Brent<3
Pennsylvania, United States - January 8, 2003 at 1:37 AM EST
It was awsome to see and hear you guys New Years Eve. Velveeta Rocked. It was the first time I have heard you guys in alomst 8 monthes, which is way too long. It was also the first New Years Eve I have had off since leaving PSU IN 1996. Thanks for doign such a great job and for keep rockin. Thanks again.
Ridley Twp, Pennsylvania, United States - January 8, 2003 at 12:49 AM EST
Well well well....I have had both Mike and Steve. Although Michael is more tender, more loving, more attuned to my needs and desires, Steve has a certain barbarian demeanor that just sends my creamy white thighs a quiverin. I must have you both.....
Philly, Pennsylvania, United States - January 7, 2003 at 7:32 PM EST
My pictures of Vanialla Ice did not turn out. But my pix of Steve and Mike did, any takers?
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States - January 7, 2003 at 2:58 PM EST
What is going on? This is insanity. Does my skin have an orange hue to it?
United States - January 7, 2003 at 2:55 PM EST
Just a suggestion, but maybe you guys could trade
the pics of Vanilla for pics of Gary Coleman. Again,
just an idea.
United States - January 7, 2003 at 2:13 PM EST
Did you guys get any good shots of Vanilla Ice when you played with him?
United States - January 7, 2003 at 1:10 PM EST
Mike, Steve, Brian, Bones, Brent, John, Zippy!!!! All of the members of Velveeta, old and new, ROCK! And they are all cuties!
United States - January 7, 2003 at 3:13 AM EST
CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pittsburgh fans know him! He is one of the best guest singers I have ever seen on stage with Velveeta. I also agree with number 616! George is pretty awesome! Does anyone remember when he used to have that really long hair??? As for the Mike/Steve controversy, they are both cuties! Let's end this battle and sit back and enjoy those eighties tunes!!! LONG LIVE VELVEETA!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 7, 2003 at 2:53 AM EST
Donnie Iris came from pgh right? Can't be all bad! At least their city doesn't smell like rotten garbage..
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - January 6, 2003 at 7:56 PM EST
Dude the Steelers suck ass. Nothing good every came out of that city! PS Rock on Cathy! We need to support our team!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - January 6, 2003 at 7:42 PM EST
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS.......
YOU KNOW WHO!!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 7:35 PM EST
Can't everyone just enjoy the damn music and the talent? You don't know these guys except what they do on stage. All of them are attached in one way or another. It's kind of inconsiderate to anonymously state what you think you know about their personal life. I am sure the real woman in their lives appreciate it. Get over your hormones and just dance your ass off!!!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 7:18 PM EST
You know i bet all these entries are from the guys in the band!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 4:24 PM EST
Go E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! Haha and how about them Giants!!!! That was beautiful!!
Philly, Pennsylvania, United States - January 6, 2003 at 4:24 PM EST
to answer the previous question(612)...dem der Steelers ROCK (as least in the last 4 minutes)!
Bring on the Titans!
oh yeah, one more thing... BONES, BRENT, BRIAN, MIKE, & STEVE!!!!!!!!!!!! (it's too rough of a decision)
N.C., United States - January 6, 2003 at 4:21 PM EST
GEORGE! -don't leave out the man behind the scenes
United States - January 6, 2003 at 4:14 PM EST
One more thing...I also agree with entry 479. Happy scrolling!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 3:50 PM EST
Eastampton, New Jersey, United States - January 6, 2003 at 3:49 PM EST
It's all fun and games until someone starts a rumor. Then it is just mean.
But let me borrow a quote from the eloquent Suicidal Tendencies...."You can't bring me down."
United States - January 6, 2003 at 3:37 PM EST
So hows bout dem Steelers?
United States - January 6, 2003 at 1:38 PM EST
All of this information about Mike being "connected" to everyone is very insighful. I would of never thought that he was that type. I guess I should of known that there was a reason why is still single!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 1:25 PM EST
one word STEVE!
Brent..wait not brent
United States - January 6, 2003 at 12:55 PM EST
I also agree with some of the other fans... I think there are a lot of ladies that have "connected with".. err, "hooked up with"... Mr. Michael Lee!
United States - January 6, 2003 at 12:49 PM EST
The Girls of the Saloon
State College, Pennsylvania, United States - January 6, 2003 at 10:53 AM EST
one word for ya....MIKE
The Girls of State College
United States - January 6, 2003 at 8:06 AM EST
Wow, there sure is a lot of controversy about the whole Steve/Mike thing. I do agree that they are both adorable (Mike's dimples kick ass!)...I haven't really had the pleasure of actually meeting Steve since I graduated before he joined, but I am sure he is sweet too. I would, however, have to vote for Mike simply for the fact that I know what a huge Pearl Jam fan he is. Any man who digs Ed and the boys is money in my book, baby! Steve, I don't know about your status on the PJ fan thing...feel free to share...inquiring minds want to know (I want to know).
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States - January 5, 2003 at 11:36 PM EST
Steve is the sweetest and the hottest! Mike is sweet too... but I think he is a bit of a player at times. Even if he doesn't mean to be. Come on! There is always a line waiting for him at the end of each show!
Pittsburgh, United States - January 5, 2003 at 5:32 PM EST
Mike is a sweetheart but I have to say that every girl in Western Pennsylvania feels like they have "connected" with him.
United States - January 5, 2003 at 5:24 PM EST
Yeah, i heard Steve was a track star in his youth, but I don't think his motivation was ever monetary
United States - January 5, 2003 at 1:11 PM EST
I still think Steve can give Mike a run for his money any day.
United States - January 5, 2003 at 3:29 AM EST
well. so maybe all the girls do fall pretty hard for mike..but come on..can you blame me..i mean THEM...
United States - January 5, 2003 at 2:09 AM EST
When are we going to see the pictures from the last couple of shows the band has played?
United States - January 4, 2003 at 7:14 PM EST
What about Steve? He is pretty hot, and definitely gives Mike some competition!!!
Steel Horse Rider
Pittsburgh, United States - January 4, 2003 at 5:20 PM EST
I think half the girls across PA think they have "connected" with Mike.
United States - January 4, 2003 at 5:17 PM EST
Seems that Mike is popular with the ladies! He does have a way of charming ALL the girls at every place they play.
United States - January 4, 2003 at 4:42 PM EST
so last nite i went to the hardware bar and had one of the best nites of my life and it had nothing to do with vanilla ice. i had the pleasure of standing right in front of mike and i think i fell in love with him. maybe i was just a starry eyed redhead that had a little too much to drink, but i really thought there was a connection between us. mike if you remember this at all, you give me a holla back and if not, know that some girl out there thinks you are a good time.
west chester/carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States - January 3, 2003 at 7:39 PM EST

United States - January 3, 2003 at 10:46 AM EST
Happy New Year to my favorite processed cheese food! I am getting more and more excited to get back east and torture you all on a bi-weekly basis. I was looking at the gallery and decided that Bri has way too much time on his hands. Also saw some people I graduated college with at Nick's! Small world. And to think, they believe my brother is a rock star! Take care and have a safe and prosperous New Year. Kisses!!
California, United States - January 2, 2003 at 10:47 PM EST

United States - January 2, 2003 at 3:09 PM EST
Hey Guys, you need to put up more pics from Nick's on Saturday!
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - December 31, 2002 at 11:05 AM EST
Was it just me.... or was the show at Nick's entirely awesome?? Definitely one of the best I've been to and I've been to many! Great job!
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States - December 31, 2002 at 12:42 AM EST
Well guys, first of All, Merry Christmas to you all, and hope you have a wonderful New Year. It's been almost a year since we last saw you guys, I think March was the last time, so Saturday was a lot of fun. As usual, you guys had something to surprise me with. I've heard the Rage once before, and you guys do that one killer, and it's definitely a crowd pleaser. The Eminem....all I can say is unf'nbelieveable. Mike outstanding job. The place lit up when you were playing it. As soon as you guys started off with that one, I was like get the hell out of here, they're not playing what I think they are. And low-and-behold...Without Me kicked the crowd in the groin and made us all nuts. Fantastic Job! This was also the first time we got to see the new bass player as well, and I would say his name, but I didn't take the time to check out the site today, so I don't know it...but you are definitely a slice of the Cheese, and I thought it was cool as hell to see you playing on the stairwell. Overall a great show guys. It was good to see you all again, and my friends and I look forward to the next time you are in town. And I gotta say...how in the hell does Vanilla Ice get to open for you guys? That's great! Have a good one!
PS: We here in the travel industry are slow, so bored as I was, I made this pathetic little web page, but made sure I added you guys as a link. in case I didn't type it in the guestbook right.....www.angelfire.com/pa5/80sguru. Again, thanks for an awesome show.
