I am so excited to have found your website, I am a PSU alum, now living in the Philly area. I have been going through Velveeta withdrawl since I graduated and left PSU about a year ago. I am so excited to see that you play at Brownie's. I will definitely be there!!! I see that according to these entries that you have a CD too, how do I get one? You guys are the greatest band ever, some of my greatest college memories are from Thursday nights at the Crowbar. Look forward to seeing you at Brownie's.

on a happy note: We just had the luxury of having VELVEETA rock our reception party at our wedding, and we wanted to formally thank all of you guys for making that day like no other. Every time we hear you guys, it's like an addiction and we want more and more......I can't tell you how many people have commented on how awesome you were, and how much fun they had at our wedding because of the jammin' band. I believe you have just started (expanded) your harrisburg area cult and we can only beg and plead for you guys to play down here more often.......Thanks again Bones, Brent, Brain, John and Mike for making my wife turn into a rock star!!!!!!!!!

Not to make light of the current situation, but I feel I need to change the subject. I cannot wait for Velveeta to cone back to Philly. I feel like it has been forever since they were here (maybe because I have no kind of recollection of the last time they were here!!) See you at Brownies!

At first I was shocked, then sad, now I'm just mad as hell! To see an act of such disregard for human life! These people responsible must be extingusted from our society so all respectful humans can be safe to live a life they deserve! They may have thought they were going to bring us to our knees, but they are very wrong! We are American, we are proud and we will not be afraid!
My thoughts go out to all the victims and the heros in the form of all the police, fireman and volunteers who are banning together to show the world what we are made of!
Our freedom is something too many people in our past have fought for, and we will not let their fight be in vain! The best thing we can do is to continue to do what we had done everyday before this. It's our duty to keep purchasing products and to put money into our economy as not to let it fail. I'm going to do my small part by traveling to Sharon, PA to see Velveeta. I'll bring pictures from last show. They will be for sale. I'll donate a portion of the sales to The Red Cross for their efforts in helping the victims of this tragedy.
They say time heals all. As time goes by and the memories fade, I hope we don't lose the unity we are feeling right now as a nation! God Bless Freedom!
See you tonight in Sharon!

I am sure that Velveeta would be willing to donate a portion of their proceeds during this weekend's gigs to any relief and rescue effort. Perhaps they could rally their huge group of faithful followers to get involved show these lunatics that we won't be kept down.

Brent, I am sorry you had to share your birthday with such a horrific event. And I don't think there really is a designated appropriate forum to discuss these kinds of things...Considering it is affecting every single one of us everywhere. This (unfortunately) is going to be the topic of conversation for a long long time. Everyone involved is in my prayers and I feel the most sincere compassion for anyone who has lost anyone in the tragedy. Hopefully we will stop this before it gets any worse...

I suppose this is not the appropriate forum, but I would like to echo the sentiments of the previous entry. Please take a moment to think about those who lost their lives in this tragedy. My sympathies go out to all those with friends and family affected. The New York office of my company we closely interact with occupied 12 floors in the second WTC building above the 90th floor. My heart goes out to them and all those impacted. They will not be forgotten.

The cd's that we got came from arts fest at the Crowbar. It is incredible. It's like being at a show. However, it is pretty old stuff. It would be good (hint hint) if the band would make another one of the more recent stuff they do like Weezer, Sttroke 9, etc.

I very much regret leaving before the last set as it has just been brought to my attention that I missed the Rage song. I got what I deserved I suppose, but at least it allowed a few of the many people STILL LINED UP AROUND THE CORNER AT 1:00 AM to get in for a while.

But what I did not miss may go down as one of my all time greatest Velveeta moments. UNSKINNY BOP? Are you kidding me? THAT WAS SO F&%$*@G AWESOME. I was too far back to see how everyone else reacted to it, but (all football related results considered) it made the whole weekend worth it for me.

I've seen you guys for 5 years and counting and I've never heard you play that song before. Thanks for constantly mixing things up. It makes every show unique! Keep up the good work and I hope to see you again soon!

Just wanted to tell you that you were AWESOME this weekend...Unfortunately I couldn't convince my friend to stay for Champs last night, but Friday and Saturday made up for it. The high point of the weekend had to be everyone screaming along to Rage at the Saloon. I looked behind me and literally everyone was jumping up and down screaming at the top of their lungs. It was a beatiful thing =) It almost made up for the fact that we had to wait in line for a long time to get into the Saloon (which I have never ever had to do before). But seriously, it was a great time. You guys rock! Can't wait til you come back to Philly!!!

I would like to thank Erik Shafer for being the ultimate Velveeta fan. This past saturday at the Hot Rod Cafe my bass drum head cracked at the start of the first set. Not good. To Entry 163:

I hate to get too deep on ya and all but I have to disagree. You can judge the band as people by their music. When they are on stage they give off a certain persona. Each one is different and each one will be liked or disliked by someone. Personally, I could care less what they do off-stage. If Brent wants to charm every female between 90 and 100 pounds and just over the age of 21, that's his perogative. After all, the band was his brainchild and we can all thank him for that otherwise we'd have no guestbook, no Velveeta and no John and Mikey to gawk at.

Rock on Velveeta. What time is that show in Ardmore next weekend?

Well, I wrote 158, and yes, I am very aware of freedom of speech. It just seems to me that this is not a place to bash Velveeta or its members. These guys work hard to play good music. Unless you're their wife or child, why should anything other than their music matter? It's a free country and you can say what you want, but if you don't like the Velveeta guys, then just don't sign the book. Let the true fans enjoy what it's intended for. Thank you. : )

Great show at M-squared! Thanks Brent for coming and saying hello to my friend and I, that was quite a surprise!
Now, to whoever is writing things about me in this guestbook, leave me alone! I am just a fan just like everyone else!
Whoever is writing, don't you have better things to do?
Thanks for the last message #140, I do not need Valium or whatever it is.
Whoever you are, email me and tell me things via email because I am tired of all these things about me in the guestbook.
A guestbook for bands is to have fun and say nice things about the band and not fans.
You see my email address, write to me and tell me things, do not say things in the guestbook. Stop it!
I will get you for harrassment, whoever you are.
Sorry guys that I wrote this, but this needs to be fixed, once and for all.
Will see you guys at Nick's in July.
Have fun,
Sonia Kail

I saw your show at PNC Park just yesterday. What fun! Thanks for coming down to play for the baseball fans, I loved it. I'm looking forward to catching you guys at Nick's next time you're in town. When I get my film developed, I'll send a copy of the dancing pierogies.

Okay, so Sonia needs a Valium...or perhaps a few. But geez man, leave her alone, we all need to have an obsession. Oh and Brent may get all the attention but it's the quiet ones like John who are the most adorable (yes, you CAN be married AND adorable at the same time!)

Sorry if anyone tried to vote earlier today - the favorite song poll was down for a period of time. Everything is fixed now...I hope.

Thanks, guys, for a cure when we're homesick for PSU! And hey, being lactose intolerant isn't so bad, when you can still have VELVEETA!!!
See you at MSquared!

Hey guys, just wanted to say that I missed the first half of the show last night and I didn't get to see the new songs in that set.... :o( The only new song I got to hear was faith and Mike....you did an outstanding job...adn the rest of you guys...pat yourselves on the back.....and don't stop patting....you never stop playing and you never stop having fun. That is why everyone has fun at the shows. I look forward to the next time I get to see you guys and I hope you take a hard earned vatcation in August and do something for yourselves....like go to Cancun or something. Talk to you again soon. Oh and to all the people I see there on a regular basis....hi :o) It was great to see you all again. :o)

Whoever is writing things about me is not very nice at all, and I do not appreciate it; just because I write nice things, does not mean that I have a thing for anyone of them; I am just a regular fan just like all the cheesheads out there. There is nothing wrong with being a fan.
Thank you Bob for sticking up for me; Entry #131. People like you are nice.
I do want to find out who is doing this to me because this is so unfair.
I am a proud Velveeta fan, and just like all of you, and if some of you cannot understand, then it is your problem, and I would appreciate it if whoever is writing those things about me to stop or I will really try to find out who it is.
See you all tonight at Nick's, and I will sing "Jenny/867-5309" with you guys, and I will do a fine job.
Sonia Kail

Excuse me previous entry, this is not the place to take jabs at other fans. This defeats to intent of this guestbook. If you would like to settle this in a professional manner, I suggest cheese wrestling. Please chill out - thanks.

Hmmm.... I wonder who wants to hear "Jenny 867-5309" on saturday night at Nick's ? Maybe we should answer that one more time in the guestbook for all to read.
