I love you guys and hope to see you at Brownie's this weekend..."Play Bon Jovi!!"

Great to see you guys back at The Hot Rod. Sounded great as usual. Wish I could have seen that there was a band on stage during the first set. Oh, I get it, it was "Guess The Band Night" The band plays in a shroud of mystery while the drunken crowd tries to guess who they came to see. Brilliant! A great new drinking game!
Thanks for the shot of Jager! Should be at Nick's Fat City!

Hey guys,

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I just wanted to tell you guys that you were, as always, awesome on Saturday. It was a hell of a show, and we brought about 10 cheese virgins down to check you out. So, their Cheesy Cherries have been popped, and they had an awesome time. As far as that guy who jumped off the stage....well, a little note for cheese fans everywhere...please please please, especially in a place like Nick's, do not jump off the stage. A friend of mine, who is now a Velveeta fan, did get hurt by the guy. She is doing fine though, the doctor told her it was just muscle stain on her neck. She is stiff and sore but fine. And she wishes Velveeta fans everywhere a Happy New Year. Brent, get my email, we want to book you for a private show in June. We'll see you guys next time.

To the audience at Brownies on 12/28 I do want to extend an apology for the volume. I did get a little carried away mixing the 'cheese', but I thought that I had a good vibe going, and the boys do like to 'Rock like Fuck'. I WAS asked by the management to tone it down a bit. I hope everyone enjoyed the show and I hope that your eardrums didn't bleed too much....

You guys kicked ass at Browies the other night. It was loud as hell too. And of course, you were all retarded, even more so than usual. But the best part of all was the quality of sound blasting from the speakers. You didn't need to be leaning up against them (Brent!) or anywhere near them for that matter. I just happened be right next to them the whole time we were there. Ladies, you know what I am talking about if you were ANYWHERE on the dance floor! Was it or was it not a good time?!?!

Not only do you have problems with spelling names correctly, you seem to have a problem with ignoring apostrophes. The "your" you want is "you're," short for you are. And also, when you say "hotties", you also need an apostrophe. I hope everyone learned as much as CrazCrush did from this lesson.

Well anonymous, if that's your real name...it's the Dudeman who is master of this domain. Give Mr. Matthews a pat on the back for keeping up with the site, it can be a chore. By the way, no offense anonymous people out there, but doesn't anyone have a name? You shouldn't hide the fact that you bleed orange like the rest of us. I can't speak for the guys in the band, but I am sure the messages mean a lot more if they can tie a thought to a name. It makes the guestbook what it is supposed to be, a signed 'guest' book. You don't need to put your email down or anything, just a first name, nickname, whatever. Again, no offense the author, it was a good comment, just my thought...

P.S. Brian, Round & Round by Ratt does kick some serious ass. Don't you think Brent could put a wig on and try to sing it a la his Quiot Riot interpretation from Arts Fest like 4 years ago (at least I think that is who sang it...not sure...very drunk at the time, maybe it was only a dream...)? By the way, do you have problems keeping your beer cold in the cave?

P.P.S. Almost forgot...my two years of 80's exile are over...lock the cellar door because I'm moving back East this weekend and living/working in Maryland, only a 3 hour tour from PSU. Look out...

One last note, I like to come back and read the guest book now and again, and I like to see what other people have to say about the band. I am glad to see that we have a 100% agreement, that Cheese makes it taste better. You guys truly are the greatest party band out there. And as far as Kelly's suggestions are concerned...some very nice choices. Brian, if you want to play Round and Round, talk to me, you know I'm always up for some singing. :o)

I know deez dudes from carnegie that work with them guys from Ratt at the Photohut. They said Donnie Iris is workin on a commercial for a discount clothing store. Them said that it features Ratt on top of a Bonneville singin "polyester brown" instead of "round and round". I think Donnie works there too.
Anyway, weird coincidence huh? Cause you were in the burgh, and donnie's from the burgh, and ratt works at the Photohut! Crazy world, Crazy world. Stanley P, overan' aut!

Or sing songs for that matter that no one has ever heard of. People keep coming back to see Velveeta because they are talented musicians that sing great 80's songs that WE ALL KNOW. Speaking for myself, someone who actually plays for Velveeta I think those are wonderful suggestions Kelly and in fact we have also played or attempted a few of the songs in the before mentioned list. Some are just too difficult to sing for myself or the other members. We won't perform songs if we don't think they will be represented as the songs deserve. So Kelly thank you for the actual productive addition to our Guestbook and please disregard the disrespectful people who can't even put their names in here. - Brian

Um the reason Velveeta doesn't play any of those songs is because they all suck!!!

I tried to send this through the request link, but it didn't work so I'm gonna post it here.

Top 10 Songs I Didn't See On Your Songlist (but would love to hear)

She's A Beauty - The Tubes
Don't Tell Me You Love Me - Night Ranger
Turn Up The Radio - Autograph
Your Love - The Outfield
One Thing Leads To Another - The Fixx
Naughty Naughty - John Parr
You Might Think - The Cars
Round N Round - Ratt
Burnin For You - Blue Oyster Cult
Save All Your Love - Great White

Saw the band at The Saloon Friday. I knew every song. (oops - I guess I'm showing my age!) Can't wait to see the band again.

I am so excited to have found your website, I am a PSU alum, now living in the Philly area. I have been going through Velveeta withdrawl since I graduated and left PSU about a year ago. I am so excited to see that you play at Brownie's. I will definitely be there!!! I see that according to these entries that you have a CD too, how do I get one? You guys are the greatest band ever, some of my greatest college memories are from Thursday nights at the Crowbar. Look forward to seeing you at Brownie's.

on a happy note: We just had the luxury of having VELVEETA rock our reception party at our wedding, and we wanted to formally thank all of you guys for making that day like no other. Every time we hear you guys, it's like an addiction and we want more and more......I can't tell you how many people have commented on how awesome you were, and how much fun they had at our wedding because of the jammin' band. I believe you have just started (expanded) your harrisburg area cult and we can only beg and plead for you guys to play down here more often.......Thanks again Bones, Brent, Brain, John and Mike for making my wife turn into a rock star!!!!!!!!!

Not to make light of the current situation, but I feel I need to change the subject. I cannot wait for Velveeta to cone back to Philly. I feel like it has been forever since they were here (maybe because I have no kind of recollection of the last time they were here!!) See you at Brownies!

At first I was shocked, then sad, now I'm just mad as hell! To see an act of such disregard for human life! These people responsible must be extingusted from our society so all respectful humans can be safe to live a life they deserve! They may have thought they were going to bring us to our knees, but they are very wrong! We are American, we are proud and we will not be afraid!
My thoughts go out to all the victims and the heros in the form of all the police, fireman and volunteers who are banning together to show the world what we are made of!
Our freedom is something too many people in our past have fought for, and we will not let their fight be in vain! The best thing we can do is to continue to do what we had done everyday before this. It's our duty to keep purchasing products and to put money into our economy as not to let it fail. I'm going to do my small part by traveling to Sharon, PA to see Velveeta. I'll bring pictures from last show. They will be for sale. I'll donate a portion of the sales to The Red Cross for their efforts in helping the victims of this tragedy.
They say time heals all. As time goes by and the memories fade, I hope we don't lose the unity we are feeling right now as a nation! God Bless Freedom!
See you tonight in Sharon!

I am sure that Velveeta would be willing to donate a portion of their proceeds during this weekend's gigs to any relief and rescue effort. Perhaps they could rally their huge group of faithful followers to get involved show these lunatics that we won't be kept down.

Brent, I am sorry you had to share your birthday with such a horrific event. And I don't think there really is a designated appropriate forum to discuss these kinds of things...Considering it is affecting every single one of us everywhere. This (unfortunately) is going to be the topic of conversation for a long long time. Everyone involved is in my prayers and I feel the most sincere compassion for anyone who has lost anyone in the tragedy. Hopefully we will stop this before it gets any worse...

I suppose this is not the appropriate forum, but I would like to echo the sentiments of the previous entry. Please take a moment to think about those who lost their lives in this tragedy. My sympathies go out to all those with friends and family affected. The New York office of my company we closely interact with occupied 12 floors in the second WTC building above the 90th floor. My heart goes out to them and all those impacted. They will not be forgotten.
