As most of you reading this probably know, Matt (a.k.a. Zippy) was with Velveeta for a long time... almost since the beginning in fact. He joined the 5 of us shortly after we started playing as Velveeta, not for cash or any of that, but strictly for the love of jamming! He became an invaluable member of Velveeta and we struggled a bit trying to go on without him. We have survived, but it's of course not quite the same as it was.

To get you up to date, as of the winter of 2001: Zippy is now married and living in the Baltimore, MD area. He is involved in various musical projects, as well as exploring a new career path TEACHING!! (lock up the children *grin*). He has also proven himself a wonderful substitute drummer for Bones when the rare emergency or schedule conflict occurs. So you never know when the Zipster may show up to cause a scene.
